Anyone know where a cheesemaker can find sheep milk? I made some How to Make Goat Feta Cheese and was wondering if anyone knows where to get some sheeps milk. I live in New Mexico and can't find any here-lots of goats but no sheep..

I understand that milking sheep is very hard work and also their milking season is short.
I would also love to get some sheep milk, but my inquiries so far have been unsuccessful.

I have been making cheese from ewes milk for the past 8 months. It is incredible how much flavor is packed in sheeps milk. Not sure what your state reg's are but you will most likely have to purchase it from a local farmer in the area. Try farmers markets ect...
