I am glad you brought this up as I have this chore on my to-do list for 2012. I do some freelance writing on Squidoo and HubPages and have seen lots of pages of both sites that were dedicated to building chicken coops and other backyard chicken flock topics.

 

I would be especially interesting in hearing how others feel about materials; wood or synthetic?
