What are you listening to? An ongoing music recommendation thread

I've recently discovered a bunch of new (to me) music on Lala and thought it would be fun to share links to songs here. Music is like oxygen to me - and many of us, I'm sure - I can't live without it. It enriches and relaxes me when I take deep, thoughtful breaths of it. I want to hear what YOU are listening to, too.
You can link to Lala songs (like I have) or Myspace or Amazon pages or any other way that we can hear part or all of a song.

I'll start with two different types of songs. A very pretty, rich and slightly bitter song:

And a heavier, headbanging but dreamy ditty from a Boston favorite of mine:
Whatcha got??

I just plain LOVE this tune. (sorry for the commercial, as labels get even more desperate, it'll get even more annoying)

a charming song from Kimya Dawson of The Moldy Peaches........after losing two loved ones within this past year, this kinda spoke to me

Track of the Day from a GREAT self-released musician!

Yeah, I'm on a Mumford kick. You should be, too.
***lyrically adult***

I fell in love again with Carly Simon's, "You're So Vain" while submitting this video to her recent contest:

So, here's some amazing music from the NY underground Roots scene:

since this site is sorta dedicated to homemade, DIY kinda stuff, i thought i'd post one of my own recent musical creations that i've been making lately under the name of "The Oak Hill Critter Orchestra"--kinda low-fi jugband americana music........this number seemed appropriate for homegrown as it's about a brief romantic encounter at a farmer's market

The Oak Hill Critter Orchestra - My Handsome, Tatooed, Punk Rock, G... from Christa Nelson on Vimeo.

Liz, where is this band from?

I am a huge fan of all songs of In Angles. However, I am trying to avoid these songs after getting the tickets for their upcoming concert of Berwyn, IL. Yes, I am very happy and excited to listen to these guys live in music concerts. On the other hand, I love to hear 7 Rings by Ariana Grande and Sucker of Jonas Brothers.
