help with seeds...
I have been looking for true lime seeds for a while now. I can get the key lime seeds but would prefer real lime seeds. All the limes that you can buy in stores now are 'seedless' and not worth buying as far as i am concerned. The same issue with the 'Thompson' grapes and the red grapes. Does anyone know a source for seeds for these types of limes or grapes?

Citrus is usually propagated by cuttings or grafting and grafting to an appropriate rootstock usually creates a stronger, more vigorous plant. I grow 10 varieties of citrus in Colorado including limes, Key limes(also called Mexican limes) and limequats(lime-kumquat cross) although I do have a greenhouse. I have rooted lime cuttings successfully. You would be best off buy buying a lime tree at a local nursery or garden center. In my experience, citrus is generally easy to start from seed but takes many years to develop and sometimes never flowers and fruits. I have been creating and selling citrus bonsai trees in my business for many years
