Event Description

Filmmaker Chuck Schultz will be in attendance for a rough-cut screening of his documentary-in-progress, The Last Crop, which considers what it means that 70 percent of our nation’s farmland will change hands in the next 20 years. The film follows Jeff and Annie Main, of California's Central Valley, as they struggle to ensure their farm’s future in the face of looming development and children seeking alternative career paths. Jeff and Annie were Farm Aid's Farmer Heroes for the month of March. You can catch a trailer of the film here on HOMEGROWN; for more details, visit thelastcropfilm.com. Admission is free.
