Visit New England's oldest operating seed store to learn about seed saving and seed production at Comstock, Ferre & Co in Wethersfield, CT. Come learn about:
- the basics of seed saving
- hybrid vs. open pollinated
- annual vs. biennial
- self-fertile vs. needing to cross pollinate
- different ways of pollination
- easy to save seeds
- techniques for crops that need isolation
- growing seeds commercially
The workshop cost is $30 for members and beginning farmers and $40 for non-members.
